Don Cornelius, Soul Train Visionary, Rest in Peace.

Soul Train was an integral part of my childhood, my saturday mornings. Before cable, MTV or BET we had the debonair Host Mr. Don Cornelius. In our living rooms, we danced right along with his musical guests. The Jacksons, Ohio Players, Al Green, Gap Band, Chaka Khan, Labelle, Elton John, you get the picture! Soul Train was pure soul, not watered down! Let's not forget the energetic and fashionable Soul Train dancers. Go to any wedding or big family function and you WILL see or participate in the Soul Train Line. When I learned that Don Cornelius passed away, I was extremely saddened,as if I lost a family member. In a sense, I did. Rest in peace.
